The department houses the revolutionary Transformative Technology Lab, a leading psychophysiology lab that researches higher-levels of consciousness with high density EEG and other biophysical technologies. The lab is the home of the Finders Course Experiments, a well-known and highly regarded pioneering research effort to assist people in the transition to transpersonal consciousness while collecting detailed psychological, cognitive science, and biophysical data to help science further understand these forms of consciousness. The department also collaborates broadly with researchers at other institutions on related types of research.
